Well, aside from a lovely chat about my family and a rousing discussion on my finer qualities, we agreed to a truce. There is no impetus for us to war against one another while we're here.

I did it because it benefits me. I have no allies other than you, no army, no resources. I can do nothing against an enemy like the Darkling. A temporary truce is the best answer.

I am not suggesting that we set aside our differences and become the best of friends. But if he isn't plotting to kill us, then we need not stop him.

But that relies he ever stops plotting.
If we can trap him here we should.

I plan to keep an eye on his movements. As much as I can with no intelligence network to speak of. If he proves a threat to us or anyone else, then I will act accordingly.
